The problem it fixes
If you follow a handful of artists, your streaming app keeps up fine. Follow a few hundred and it quietly stops. The home screen is not a list of what came out, it is a ranking of what an algorithm expects you to play, and a ranking never tells you what it left out. A single released the same Friday as four bigger records, an EP from someone you have not played in a while: easy for a ranker to skip, and exactly the thing you wanted to hear.
What Sonari does
You tell Sonari which artists you care about. From then on:
- Every release lands in one feed, newest first. Albums, EPs, singles. No algorithm decides what you see, so when you reach the end, you really are caught up.
- You get a notification the moment it drops, for the artists you choose. The ones you would drop everything for can tell you straight away, and the rest can stay quiet.
- New music can go straight into a playlist on your streaming service, so it is waiting for you before you open anything.
What it is not
Sonari is not a streaming service, and you do not have to switch. It works alongside Spotify and Apple Music: Sonari tells you what came out, and the subscription you already have plays it at full quality.
What it costs
The feed, the notifications and auto-add to a playlist are free, and they stay free.
